Received my passport 9 days after applying

Just letting folks know in case you're considering paying extra fees for faster service. I was told 6-8 weeks and received it the next week. I was a first time applicant and didn't pay for expedited service.

If I needed within six weeks I'd still pay the expedited fee. Not worth the risk, imo.

You may have gotten it fast, but not everyone will, and there's no reason to be cheap if it means risking missing out on your trip

My wife just got her renewal back. Took 3 weeks.

I paid the expedited fee, got my renewed passport back in ten days.
