Going for a family wedding at the end of May. We will be staying at Royalton Punta Cana.
Any suggestions should we leave the resort?
Golf courses?
Really just looking for any tips and/or advice on the area.

Found some dated threads that didn't really provide much help on what I'm looking for. Thanks for the suggestion though.

we did "outback adventures" a few years back. it should be highly rated on tripadvisor

Catalina Island excursion was a good time.

We have went there numerous times and stayed at the resort. I went Marlin fishing with a charter outside the resort and it was like traveling through the slums of Tijuana...Hoodlums on motorbikes on every corner and under every shade tree. The driver said you have to be tough or stupid to wander around the town
