Possible Move to PA... Thoughts on Hershey?

I may get an offer to work in Pa. and am trying to decide between Hershey and Mechanicsburg because I will be working in Harrisburg. I'm looking for recommendations for that area.

Try taking your wife down the Hershey Highway a few times and see if the ride is comfortable for her.

Worked with Penn State Hershey Medical Center on a consulting project and the folks were nice

Have a friend who just moved to Reading. They like it so far and love the natural beauty......I will check back with them in January.

Hershey's proximity to Harrisburg (PA's capital) makes it more palatable, but it's definitely different from living in the South culturally and obviously in weather. Our family almost moved to Allentown (not too far away from Hershey) when I was a kid. I'm glad in retrospect we didn't, but that's me.
