We just need one night. We are not seeing hardly anything worth a damn. It seems like they're cool beaches but zero hotels and I don't see anything on Air BNB

Thanks,

I believe it’s all houses out on the island with The Plantation on the western end being the nicest. There are rentals, but I don’t know about one night. This is for SGI. Don’t know about the Cape.

Some decent places to stay in Apalachicola. Try Water Street Hotel or the Gibson Inn.

That’s why it’s so popular, old school. No resorts or high rises, very few condo complexes. Just houses to rent that probably require multiple night stays. But yeah you could do Apalachicola 20 min away and still go to state park on CSB

Panama City is under an hour away too

Look also at The Port Inn in Port St Joe if you need a hotel room. It’s 20 minutes from the Cape and you could drive to the state park or use one of the public access points

There’s no ‘nice’ hotels on either that I know of on either, there’s the Buccaneer Inn and smaller St George Inn on St George, both probably like 2-2.5 star type places.

The Gibson Inn and Water Street hotel in appalachicola are nice places though and in between both.
