Nashville hotel prices are out of their mind...

Who pays these prices?
Average downtown hotel price per night on Saturday June 24th is around $350 before taxes and fees. Many are around $450/night.
How's Uber in Nashville? My wife and I are planning a night out away from the kid and would like to do some bar hopping. After $190 for two tickets to the Ryman, we'll probably have to stay more towards Goodlettsville

Nashville has gotten outrageous with the influx of people and a millennial hotbed.

They are ridiculous. I would highly advise you not to pay it. Nashville is charging more than NY, SF, Chicago, LA...and you aren't getting the same ROI.
Look to staying around Midtown/West End (Vanderbilt and Centennial Park). Hotels are cheaper and you are two miles from downtown (literally walking distance).
Very good. You should have no issues with Uber or Lyft.
ETA: The Clarion Hotel is a nice, cheaper option that can technically be "downtown". You're right next to the Titans Stadium and Little Harpeth Brewing. Simply walk across the bridge and you are in downtown.

Stayed at a Courtyard in Brentwood a couple of weeks ago. $150 a night. Cheap and quick uber all weekend.

That does seem awfully high, maybe something is going on during that time period.
Most downtown areas are ridiculous even during slow travel times.

Yeah prices have gotten ridiculous, I couldn't get a Gov rate downtown. Couldn't find any events happening on the weekend I am going too. Staying at the Marriott over by Vandy at Gov rate.
Use to be easy to get gov rate down there.

I checked. Monster Jam is at Nissan Stadium. That must be attracting some high rollers! /s
Crazy that one night away in Nashville for a concert, dinner, and drinks is going to cost up to $600.
