I am looking at getting a new set of luggage, I have been looking online it they offer so many different brands. I am not looking for something that is very expensive but also nothing that will fall apart on the first use, I seen Amazon Basics has a set that has good reviews. I was wondering if anyone has a set, also what is a few other brands that is not that expensive but is worth getting. I don't travel that often maybe once a year or every two years Thanks, in advance.

I've had a Travelpro spinner for years and have flown hundreds of flights with it. Zero issues and we ended up getting a larger set for Mrs. H2O as well.

On sale for $109

I just buy the Samsonite when it goes on sale which is often. I have plenty of it, but I couldn't resist buying a full set of purple when it was about 75%off. I don't buy the real expensive designer stuff because the airlines just tear it up.

Wait until after Xmas and see what’s on sale. I’ve got several pieces of expensive luggage(Tumi) that have held up forever. I’ve got cheaper stuff with broken zippers and such. You get what you pay for.

For midrange, I’d look at some of the outdoor type brands…Osprey, Patagonia, LL Bean is good bang for the buck.

Bought an inexpensive hardside (I believe the brand is High Sierra) in 2015 or so. It has been to Italy, Canada, the UK (twice) and multiple American cities. Still kicking.

Don't overspend for a name.

I do this as well. Have gotten some decent luggage there that’s lasted longer than I thought it would for the price we paid.
