Can't believe how little snow there is right now. Was here 2 years ago for Christmas and it was terrific. I guess that's how it goes sometimes.

Says they got a 31" base which is above average for this time of the year as the average is 29"

Absolutely. We're getting a little snow tomorrow morning and temps are supposed to drop significantly. Will still be a good trip.

Light snow almost all day today. Sunny skies the rest of our trip. Skiing was decent. Took my kids down Home Run today. That was fun.

Park city us really bad about opening up the mountain before Christmas. Even if they have the snow, a lot of times it's staffing issues. Snowbird/Alta/Snowbasin/brighton are all better options

Well PC was beyond crowded and not a lot of powder. The snow making machines are running constantly to keep up. Still a good time and everyone had fun. Today is our last day so we're going to check out the Deer Valley resort and hang out on Main Street.

Headed home this morning. It's dry and not much snow in the forecast. It did get really cold while we were here.

Howd the trip end up going? Any recommendations on things to check out besides the mountian/skiing?

Trip was great. It was crowded of course. I had several locals tell me the best time to ski is during Sundance. No one is on the slopes. Main St. is a must stop. No Name Saloon is good but High West Saloon is great. Red Banjo pizza was also good. We did the Snowed Inn Sleigh Ride Dinner which was pricey but my family really wanted to do it. It was good. We skipped Woodward and Olympic Park since we did those 2 years ago. They desperately need a good snow storm. The machines are running non stop. The lower greens runs are icy and slick.
