Is the Delta Sky Club worth it?

I'm a poor ol'baw and was wondering if it's worth $60? This will set me back until my next biweekly paycheck comes through.

I would do it, yes.
$60 for 5 hours is better than sitting in those shitty gate chairs with the commoners. Besides, you get free food and drinks in the lounge, which you'll undoubtedly pay for on the outside, so if you were to have spent $20 on food in the terminal, then you're only looking at a true cost of about $40.

I am an AA Admirals Club member and the private bathrooms with a shower are worth it alone on top of the stuff you mentioned. Also, the concierge/travel assistance is the shite if you miss your connecting flight and have to make other arrangements. No waiting in a line 100 person deep like the commoners.

That airport is awful. I'd rather fly into Chattanooga and drive if need be.

Went thru atlanta yesterday, not too bad. I actually prefer Detroit for Delta, but avoid it in the winter months.
