Homeaway help...Square Cash. Any of you heard of this service?

I rented a house in Houston, and made initial payment. We added an extra night, now an additional payment is due. I tried 1 credit card 2 debit cards, and an e check, all thru home away website and none worked. The owner is asking me to pay through Square Cash. Any of you heard of this service?

I have 2 properties we rent on VRBO, why are the payments not working? That's odd to me. I'd figure that out first.

I talked to Homeaway for 30 min, mostly on hold. They had no answer and no reason for the payment failures, said they would escalate the problem. I went ahead and used square cash
