I’ve posted this response quite a few times, so it’s a copy and paste. But should give you some good info.

We've done exumas a few times. It's really incredible. Try to rent a place in February Point, especially if you are renting a boat.
Rent a house with a boat dock.
Rent the boat from Brown's Marina (they let you keep it over night).

Recommended places:
-Man O War Cay (catch it at low tide, unbelievable sand bars) Pack a lunch and ice chest.
-Chat n Chill (most popular, but most crowded. Get the conch salad) Great beach.
-peace n plenty (next to chat n chill, less crowded, good lunch, and great drinks) Great beach.
-snappy turtle (great lunch and view)
-Blue hole for snorkeling (just to the left of snappy turtle in the hurricane hole)
-Hoopers Bay (swim with turtles, take some cabbage or lettuce)
-Blu on the water (can get there by boat or car, but dock is a little tricky, across from Man O War) More upscale restaurant. Great Food and view.

There are some other great places to the north and south, but I would not recommend going by boat. Hop in your car and explore!

Enjoy

If you make it down to the Tropic of Cancer, you must stop at Tropic Breeze restaurant. We went twice while there and had the chef come and cook at our house one night.

Also our favorite beaches were down there on the southern end near Forbes Hill.

OP, don’t leave there without renting a boat and hopping around the cays, whether u rent it from Minns or Browns.

Does Browns limit where you can go like Minns does? I’m going back in July and was considering a rental company that would allow us to keep a boat overnight or even longer. We did Minns last time and it was great, but would love to be free to explore outside of Elizabeth’s Harbor.

Conch burger at chat n chill on stocking island… you can rent a little boat and get there yourself if you’d like; incredible snorkeling in the area.

Eat at Santanna's and stop at Forbes Hill Beach on the way but don't tell anyone else about it. My gf and I had it to ourselves for an hour or so in July and it was truly a paradise. As others have said rent a boat from Minn's or take the water taxi out to Chat & Chill and feed the stingrays. Hopefully your tour stops at Staniel Cay Yacht Club for lunch, it's a really cool spot.
