Anybody been here before? Going on a cruise next week and was just wondering how it was. Also if you went and were on a ship about how much was the cab ride from the dock to MR. Sancho's.

We went once, I thought it was good, food above average for what it was, but the drinks might have been watered down. If you go, get reservations ahead of time. Service was pretty good.

Ive been and prefer Paradise Beach. Its not an all inclusive, which I actually prefer. Nicer pool, better water park, better service and about the same distance.

Can will be $10-$15 each way

I'd go to Paradise Beach. Reasonable prices and good service.

We enjoy Sky Reef, its about a 10 minute ride. $15 or so for the taxi.

Went there 4-5 years ago. Had a good time but left early because it was cloudy and cool that morning. Left and went downtown and it warmed up and became sunny. Waste of our money but that was our screw up. Since you're only going to be there a day, it will be a good place to enjoy the beach.

We went a couple years ago with a group of 10 (50th anniversary cruise for my folks). We had a great time but likely would have had fun no matter where we went. Very friendly and attentive service (delivered drinks all the way to the water's edge). They gave my folks free use of one of the cabanas on the beach.

We did jet skis (extra charge) and they also have horseback rides, nice pool and other stuff on the grounds. We mostly hung by the beach. I don't remember the admission cost or the taxi fare but neither was exorbitant. I do remember the guac and ceviche being very good.

We have been there and Nachi Cocum( which is right beside it). It's good, but we greatly prefer Nachi. It's limited to 100 people a day, and it's better service, and much quieter.
