DId that 2 Years ago and got to experience half empty parks while there.


I went for the 1st time in 19 years this Mardi Gras because I sold on exactly what you wrote. Although it was cool to see so much black and gold, and purple and gold, sparse crowds were certainly not the case. Would not do again.

He said Disneyland, not World. You won't see much purple and gold or black and gold in Disneyland. Disneyland crowds usually are pretty light unless you go on well traveled holidays. It's crowds usually come from locals during regular days, so watch what they have going on.

Check out a flight to Tampa on sw. We did that a few years back. It was a direct flight and around an hour drive to the resort. We did a one way car rental with national and they had a drop off location at the Swan hotel.

Also check out allegiant out of Gulfport. Looks like you can fly direct if you travel Saturday to Saturday for about $157
