Disney Resort-Vero Beach

Is it worth taking a trip there-kid activities, golf, spa, food, where do you fly into-if you have been there, give me the scoop please-looking at an October trip-also how many days is enough?

It's a very quiet place. There's not a ton to do outside of local golf and, well, the beach.
I haven't been in many years but I remember there being a lottery to go watch sea turtles lay their eggs.

Ive been to Vero Beach, though not Disney. We flew into Orlando and drove 1.5-2hrs i think. Vero was cool town with some neat shops, restaurants. Not overly commercialized which I liked.
