Christmas Travel Before Christmas Day

I want to take a quick trip before Christmas with my wife and daughter. The trip needs to have a Christmas "theme" to it.
It will be after she gets out of school for the break. So I'm thinking the Saturday - Tuesday/Wednesday before Christmas. We would likely to drive to avoid the Christmas chaos in the airport. I was thinking Nashville and the Gaylord Opryland hotel since they do a big Christmas thing.
Any suggestions?

I am in Nashville for a work Christmas party every year. We have stayed there twice, There are so many people that it is hard to enter and leave the Gaylord hotel. Everything is decorated nice, and there is normally a winter wonderland event. You can shop at the mall, but the wait for food is very limited. I would rank the total event at 5/10, but not a good value for the money spent.
