I didn’t enjoy it. It seemed like a tourist trap to me.

I enjoyed it around Christmas. Sight and Sound Theatre was really good.

It's Pigeon Forge, TN with a HUGE religious influence.
Some folks like that, some don't.
The mountains are similar to the Smoky's, but not as tall.

We went up in Feb 2022 during the ice storm. It was about a 10 hour drive from BR. BR to little rock was a normal boring drive and from Little Rock to Branson was very neat and nice. I enjoyed our stay even though it was during the off season. I would definitely go during the summer next time.

We drove from Houston to Branson this past year for the week after Christmas. It was just ok. Reminded me of Pigeon Forge. Very touristy.

Coolest place was Top of the Rock.

Silver Dollar City was ok but way overcrowded. Concession lines alone were 45 min to over an hour.

Stampede was Ok for the kids but apparently is still a shell of its pre Covid self.

Agree with the poster above that the drive from Little Rock to Branson was nice.

We went to Gatlinburg the same time the year before and with the same family members. We preferred it over Branson.

It was 2 families of 4 with 4 adults ages 36-40. Kids are 5, 7, 7, and 14.

Bottom line… we will not return to Branson.

I go a few times a year, but I'm only 3 hours away.

Silver Dollar City is one of those things you just need to experience. We've had season passes for years and I've never waited 45 minutes for concessions and I've been there as pretty busy times.

Top of the Rock is cool. We really seldom do anything on the 76 strip.

We rented a house south of Hollister and probably spent more time in Hollister than anything else so we don't get the tourist trap vibe. Hollister has Downing Street Pour House, Turkey Creek Brewery, Seven Arrows Tap Room, Little La Hacienda all within walking distance of each other.

Branson sucks but Table Rock Lake is pretty cool if you have a boat. I make the trip every year for the MasterCraft Reunion
