Atlanta trip this weekend

Heading to Atlanta this weekend for the 4th and am staying downtown. Looking for some recommendations on places to eat and also some places to hike within an hour / hour and a half from the city.

easy or hard,how long do you want to hike?
You have stone mountain close by, otherwise 1.5-2hrs from downtown there are a lot of options

Pigeon hill and kennesaw mtn are a good hike as well. Tons of trails at cheatham hill too. Those are all within 10 miles of each other and connect.

Staying at the Sheraton on Courtland street. Pretty much open for anything but sushi.

Sweetwater Creek State Park is one option. Scenic,median difficulty trails,Civil War mill ruins, plenty of rapids etc... Only 20 min West of ATL.

Vortex Bar and Grill. There's one in Midtown, and one in Little Five Points. Great hamburgers, and a HUGE beer selection.
