I have never been sooooo....

Next weekend taking a 2 day trip (Sat18th&Sun19th) up to Arlington to catch a Rangers game. The game i have tickets for is on Sunday around 1.

Looking at staying at Live! by Loews by the stadium.

Any advice on a nicer place within walking distance and anything close worth taking a look at and of course eats!

Any and all info is greatly appreciated!

This x 1000. Stay at one of the downtown Ft Worth hotels. It's a 20 minute drive to Arlington.

To help answer your question. You are staying at the newest closest hotel to the stadium. Texas Live has some restaurants to eat at. Other than that you are out of luck for anything close to walking distance if you are traveling without a vehicle. Seriously though, Uber to Ft. Worth and enjoy the town. Arlington is not that kind of City.

This is correct. Texas Live is huge and has a nice variety of restaurants, but it has a very generic, commercial feel. There's nothing else in walking distance.

Stay in Ft. Worth and Uber to TX Live. There is nothing to do in Arlington.

This x10000. There really isn't much in Arlington and what they do have isn't an easy walk to from where you are staying. If you can't cancel your hotel and stay in Ft. Worth, then get a car because you will need it.

Near the stadium is Texas Live which does have a few (mostly chain) type places.
Some places to check out would be:
Legal Draft Brewery (37min walk, but a short 5 min drive)
Babe's which has some legit chicken fried steak
Cane Rosso (Pizza)
Prince Lebanese Grill (you will have to drive here, but it's worth it)

I've been and always gotten the fried chicken. That's kind of what they're known for. But I'm sure the chicken friend steak is good.
