Going to be there at end of June. Anything worth seeing?

You'll be very close to San Fran. Also, tons of vineyards in that area.

Livermore is a poor mans Nappa Valley. Not a bad place at all tons of vineyards.

I worked in Livermore for a summer in grad school. It's a pretty boring place for the most part. In the immediate area, wine tasting is your best bet. Quiet a few nice wineries. Concannon is the biggest and is usually pretty busy on the weekends. Garre Winery is a really nice lunch spot. If you have a car, Lake Del Valle is nice. A warning that it will be 5 million degrees during the summer, but at least it's dry.

You can take BART into SF if you want, but it will take about an hour. I wouldn't drive. Getting over the Bay Bridge is hellish.
