Had a trip planned for a week from now to go to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Not sure if we should go now or not, not sure what the damage is. Anyone know if it's good to go? I know our hotel was ok though

I don't think much has shut down as a result of the fires. I'm sure they could use your business.

Just drove in this afternoon. Had to move rooms to pigeon forge. We were originally staying off ski mountain road, they called Tuesday and said it was unavailable. Hitting Dollywood tomorrow.

It's fine. Obviously some burned areas on mountains but the towns are fine.

Lots of stuff are back open, the major tourist stuff is fine for the most part. You should be ok up there. We have been getting some good rain and things are starting to get back to normal.
