Any help would be appreciated. Looking to go after christmas.

I think bushwacker mentioned he'd stayed here before.

Prices are pretty great. Just under $5k for 5 nights including flights from NOLA.

Place looks big, are you closer to the beach if you get a nicer room?

I've stayed in the Montecristo Villas there a few years ago. The property is nice with some pretty good food options and fun pools. If you like golf, Quivera is an awesome experience! There are comfort stations every few holes with food and drinks and the course is great. I would steer away from doing the all inclusive package there as the food and drink options in town are way better. The town is mostly open right now and if you need Reqs for stuff to do in town, just let me know. I just got back from Cabo a few weeks ago. Hope this helps.

Thanks for chiming in.

Little does my wife know, the whole reason im recommending this place is to play golf.

Looks like the all-inclusive package only adds $400 for the week, so we might add it on anyway, but i'll take any recs for food and drinks in town.

We likely are going after Christmas.

Nice!

Few reqs I have would be doing drinks one evening at the Roof top at the Cape. Sunset Monalisa is always a good pick for dinner. Niksan has some of the best Japanese food I've ever had. If your looking for a cool "hole in the wall" taco shop, go to Taco Gus. Grabbing lunch at the Office on the beach is always fun. I would also highly suggest spending an afternoon at Sur Beach House. It's a beach club with amazing food and drinks. Both the Office and Sur are on Medano Bay. This is where you can get a boat and go see the arch, rent jet skis, and mess with the beach vendors. If you are into the farm to table stuff, Flora Farms does cool cooking classes and has pretty good dinners. It is in San Jose del Cabo which is about 40 min north of Cabo San Lucas. There is also a new Nobu and Hard Rock just south of where you would be staying. If your into fishing, i would recommend Red Rum. Have used them multiple times and always had fun. If your into booze cruises, I would have to find the company I use, cant think of the name right now. If the resort does not provide transportation, All Ways Cabo is a great shuttle company. While getting around while you are there, Uber is way better than the cabs. Most resorts will not let ubers on property to pick you up, they will usually allow them to drop you off. In order to leave the resort you will have to get a shuttle to the front gate, or just use a cab the resort gets for you. I'm probably missing a lot so if you have any other questions or need any other reqs, just let me know.

Just in time for whale watching season!

I’ve stayed at PB Sunset Beach twice and enjoyed it both times. The staff was very accommodating and the rides around the property in the chauffeured golf carts were a nice treat! The spa is top notch.

I’ve stayed in a beach front room and a mid-level room. To my surprise, I enjoyed the mid-level room more (better view outweighed beach proximity). My friend has a timeshare at Sunset Beach and she’s always been upgraded in different ways, but our beach front room was exactly like our mid-level room.

It’s been a while since I’ve been, but unless things have changed, there’s a free shuttle that takes you to town (drop off is at their sister property).

Be prepared for rough Pacific waters. The resort has life guards on duty and you’ll definitely get the whistle if you get too far in. I definitely recommend parasailing and, if you get the chance, a boat tour to The Arch.

I've stay at PB Rose and PB Blanco two separate trips. It's nice being able to walk between both resorts as the all inclusive for one carries over to the other resort. The rooms I stayed in weren't anything special but you couldn't beat the price.

Flora Farms and Tacos Guss are kick arse.

Don’t miss them...and they are VERY different experiences
