Xfinity /Comcast and watchespn

Spent an hour on the phone with Xfinity trying to get Watchespn to work with my usernane/password. Would not work. I have the appropriate package to have access to the games.
Tried on:
Laptop
Firestick
Phone
Ps4
Put in my mom's Uverse credentials and the game loaded right up.
Using Xfinity's streaming app on my phone, or the Xfinity website, it would load via ESPN and play.
I tried to call ESPN tech support, but got the equivalent of a McDonald's fry cook.
Anyone have Xfinity and have any luck with either Firestick or Watchespn app on an Android phone?

I have the same problem. I've never had a problem with Xfinity's internet speeds and reliability, but their custom service and app/website interface sucks.

It's only when I try to access WATCHESPN. Neither the app nor the website like my credentials for some reason. I can load ESPN through the Xfinity website and the Xfinity app, but not directly through ESPN, if that makes sense.

FWIW my uverse one has never worked, I was told it was a widespread issue, and I've been using my sister's DirectTV login for years

This may sound dumb, but check to make sure you are not already logged in with credentials that do not support ESPN.
For example, I have xfinity internet with no cable subscription. I use a separate xfinity log-in that gives me access to the channels I want. Sometimes the ESPN app will log me in with my personal internet-only credentials from being connected to that account via wifi I guess.
Just last night I had to sign out of the ESPN app, turn wifi off on my phone that I used to sign in with the correct credentials, and sign in again with the correct account.
This may not be your problem, but maybe it'll help others who run into what I ran into.
