Windows problems

I have windows 7 and in normal mode windows will not open. In safe mode it opens and can get to internet. Am doing a system recovery in safe mode but it's taking a long time. I have McAfee security.

Thanks I'll try some more tomorrow. Too fed up with it tonight.
