Is there a place to download a ISO for Windows 7?
I have it installed on my laptop but I am upgrading the hard drive.

Nothing works.
The windows site gives me an error when i put my product key in.
Is 7 still the best/most stable OS out?
I've never messed with 8.

If your product key is invalid, you can use it as a trial version for (if I remember it right) 60 days. You can refresh the clock a couple of times to extend it to 180 days but after that you're done for good.
7 is perfectly fine, I'm using it right now. 8 is reportedly better, and although many don't like the UI it's easy to get the desktop instead. But I haven't upgraded b/c 7 works for me, I'll probably go straight to 10 at some point.
