I've tried posting in a few windows 10 threads but no response.
So I have an Asus that is 4 years old, I've never had an issue with the computer. Prior to update I got 3 hours battery life from my computer (down from the 4-5 I experienced new) but after I downloaded 10 I'm getting maybe an hour and a half. Sometimes less depending on the programs involved. Is there a way to fix the issue?

Something like Cortana must be constantly hitting the wifi to burn the battery so fast.

I read they were working on a battery fix a while back. Not sure where they are on it.

I have no clue if Cortana is the problem, but you could start by disabling cortana to see if you get a better battery life until the fix is out.

I "fixed" the issue by reverting back to 8.1. When Microsoft fixes the battery issue I'll go back to 10.
