Wifi Help Home Computer

I just had internet installed today (moved to a new place) and I can not get my computer to connect to the internet. It's suddenlink cable internet w/ wifi and I can connect no problem on my phone.
Little back story on how I connect to the internet and if it is messing with my settings
So I have an unlimited data plan that doesn't slow down my speeds.. they are forcing me off my contract so I had to get home internet.
I use a program called Foxfi and I turned my phone into a "modem" so when i connect to it, I find Pdanet and i just plug up my Micro usb to USB cable directly into the computer and it just feeds internet to my PC like that.
******
So at this point i think i'm getting conflicting issues here. Under my device manager I see the PDA modem and all the stuff that included in that tree. The wifi adapter is a USB plug and play supposedly but when I see my suddenlink modem under my network and try to connect, it takes a while and says "Limited connectivity". No internet.
My driver is up to date and it's recognized and installed correct in windows 7. Under the network connections I went and disabled all the PDA (android phone modem) stuff and only left my wireless lan card open on it.
I haven't gotten a chance to tinker with it all that much but with the hour or 2 i've spent trying to figure it out i havent gotten much luck.
Can anybody think of a reason why I can't get my PC to connect to the wireless modem?

I'm going to try and get another wireless card and go again.

shite brother, i was expecting a little more help
I also had to run 18 new data lines so I got like 12k foot of cat5 cable.. I chopped off 100 ft of it yesterday and was just going to make a hardline from my modem to my PC.. it's downstairs and my computer room is upstairs on opposite ends.
I must have lost the clip ends bc i could not find those damn things. So I had to buy another $40 adapter. Hopefully that bag of clips shows up in a few days and I can take back the adapter to walmart.

I mean I don't mind running the actual cable. My issue is with this damn Alfa awus nh adapter thing (I forget the actual model type). I don't get why my computer won't recognize it and it's irritating. What I love most about it is the range I can get on that sucker.
