Phone shut down on its own. When I restarted it the LG logo came up then immediately went to a full blue screen for about 10 seconds then went black and wouldn't respond to any inputs. Took the battery out of my G3 and put it in hers and it allowed me to power it up but it did the exact same thing. Put her battery back in and now it won't respond to anything at all.

I Googled the issue and saw a few results but not a whole lot of discussion on the matter.

EDIT: Called Verizon. I'm 1 month and 2 weeks out of the manufacturer's 1 year warranty(bought originally on 7/16/14) and they offered a 1 time exception and are sending me a warranty replacement free of charge. (mark one in the win column for Verizon Customer Service!)

Have you tried putting it into recovery/download mode and seeing what it does?

If possible, could root and reflash factory image, may bring it back from death.

I did try that and was able to get into the initial recovery screen where it says "press volume up for dl mode. Press volume down to reboot" and I press volume up but it immediately went to the blue screen at that point and then became completely unresponsive with either battery I'd try in it.

Edit: this phone was bone stock, unrooted, running the latest 5.0.1 version from Verizon.
