I don't get it. The phone is over a month old now and they are available all over the place. What gives?

I can confirm that, went in today to buy another phone and asked about the 7 and they said another month before stock.

I just tried 3 different stores today and then called AT&T to order and they said it wouldn't ship until the first week of November. I don't understand how the frick a company can hype this shite up and then not have them available. I'm pretty much done with apple because of this. Looking into the alternatives as we speak.

Very difficult to make 60 million of something during a 3 month period. Much less smartphones.

Available all over the place? I just checked and every color from every service provider for the 7+ is at least a 3-4 week delivery.

I know a lot of tech journalists are assuming that a good percentage of Note 7 returners might switch to iPhones, and if they did the 7+ would be the model a Note user would want. There's no way Apple could have predicted Samsung would shoot themselves in the foot twice right when the iPhone 7 launched.

It was pretty shocking to see how many people on /r/android said they were getting the 7+ to replace their Note.

Because the Android equivalent (Note 7) went kaboooom and now people are flocking to the iPhone 7 Plus

I'm on a 6s+ so there is no real huge hurry for me, I can wait.

I will say, if you would have ordered at the time you could place one, you most likely have it.

Most interesting is it appears the 7+ is less available and the more desired phone.

If I don't get a 7 I may get that Google Pixel XL as it looks to come to at&t soon:

And it ain't no 3-4 weeks. I ordered mine, albeit from Verizon, on 9/20 and my order still shows as processing. And its pissing me off.

I'm gonna hold out for the lg v20. It sucks because my note 7 is by far the best looking, feeling, operating phone I've ever had. Not worth catching on fire in the middle of the night and killing my family though.

Check your local sams club. I picked up a 7plus today in 128gb. They also had another 128 and a 32 in stock in the plus.

I would imagine most people with note 7s would flock to a pixel phone or galaxy 7 edge before an iPhone.

As an AT&T employee, I can tell you they're back ordered because we have thousands of pre orders to fill.

Any idea when you guys are going to have a deal on phones? My dad and brother traded their 6's in for a 7 (+$70) and got theirs two weeks ago.

Because they know iPhone users will wait, they worship iPhones regardless.

This is correct. S7 Edge being the top, Google Pixel right after.
