Stream everything and have HD antenna for locals. Mostly WatchESPN, Amazon video, few apps on Apple TV. Thinking the internet essential will be ok but looking for input.
Internet essential: 2mbps upload, up to 15 dwld
Internet preferred: 5mbps upload, up to 50 dwld

Depends on what you do. I stream and am constantly online so I buckled and did the ultimate package for $84.99 a month but it offers up to 300 mbps and I've had no complaints thus far. I would also recommend just dropping the $75 to have it installed because I installed it on my own and I had to go through 4 reps before I finally got it turned on.

50 is plenty if you're only streaming one or two devices at a time.

I recently got the 150mbps package for $70/month. I believe that price is good for a year.. I'm hoping to have fiber in my hood by then.

I have the preferred package. As long as you're not running a smart home with it and a ton of devices you should be good.
