I live on a fairly remote farm, no cable available, no DSL...I currently have DISH tv and wildblue/excede internet (15 gb for $79)....it sucks.I have a teen daughter who is going to watch movies, so I need at least 30-50gb. I don't mind paying for it. I have been looking on the web for several days for any other option with no luck. Appreciate any suggestions

If you don't have any cable/DSL providers in your area then you are pretty much limited to Satellite and Cellular data plans.

I used to have Wildblue. God I hated that. If you have good cell service, a hot spot may be the way to go.

Sat internet is pretty crappy and very high latency. You good get something like a cradlepoint and connect two 4G Broadband connections to aggregate the speed but that will cost your. Or chance just one. With sprint depending on the area I can up to 20Mbps down..

How far is the nearest place they will install cable?
You could possibly do some type of wireless point to point link from there.

been looking at the Sprint 20gb but I don't have a great sprint signal, according to their coverage map. Cable appears to be at least 5 miles away.

Wireless links can go 5 miles for sure. You probably need a little height though. You could put up a little self supporting tower and use a couple of Ubiquiti dishes. It all depends what's between you and that 5 mile mark for how high you'd need the radios.
