Upload speeds for wired connections would probably drop a similar amount... it's not about "splitting the wifi", as if when you connect to it, a certain amount of bandwidth is dedicated to you and is unavailable to others. It doesn't work like that (unless it's specifically set up that way, which is unlikely). There could be 100 devices connected, and as long as none of them are transferring at a particular moment, you could still use essentially all of the bandwidth.

Just stop saying "splitting the wifi" and talk about it in terms of traffic and congestion instead.

And none of this matters if these numbers you are giving us (70 and 16) are from a speedtest site rather than an actual video upload to the site in question.
