Just did a speed test, and low and behold...when everyone else shows up to work the upload speeds dropped from 70 to 16.

You know nothing Grammar Nazi.
Just stop saying "splitting the wifi" and talk about it in terms of traffic and congestion instead.
And none of this matters if these numbers you are giving us (70 and 16) are from a speedtest site rather than an actual video upload to the site in question.
