BUMP, can anyone confirm this?

I am up for new contract in September and the wife needs a new phone. If ATT is not allowing me to keep unlimited, I'll shop around.

Well yea, unlimited is a misnomer.

Can I keep my throttled plan?

You should be able to. Just be diligent about it when upgrading and check after the upgrade to make sure it is still there. Take any and all names/numbers of who helps you along the way in case anything gets screwed up.

What do you guys feel about the LG G4? I have a Galaxy S5 and had an S3. I really like the phones, but I'm kind of over Samsung. I don't think the quality of the phone itself holds up as well as it should. Mainly with the charging port.
I really like the look of the G4 but haven't messed with it. I'm a pretty heavy power user when it comes to cell phones. Are there really no good options out there now?
