This runs off Verizon towers and you get 5gb LTE for only $35.

just checked this out and the only drawbacks seem to be the data speed is capped at 5MBs and the 5GB data limit is a hard cap. Not too bad of a deal if you need Verizon.

it appears not. People in the SlickDeals thread were talking about streaming HD Netflix in HD just fine at that level. It might be something you'd have to try for yourself though.
I have Sprint and I can stream stuff and with my shitty coverage, I doubt I ever hit those speeds.
