Is it full of viruses and want you to pay like all the other KAT clones that have come out since the OG was shut down?

From what I can tell about the link I posted above, they are having capacity issues at the moment and are asking people to please be patient.
It looks like it may require a login registration? If so, I would proceed with caution until more is known.

You guys use VPN before hitting KAT? I've never TORd before so I don't know the process

I deployed in Afghanistan right now, so I have no reason to use a VPN. If I was home, I would be using one.

VPN is only needed when you download the file you want. It is not necessary when looking for torrents or downloading the torrent file (the torrent file is the small file that tells your torrent client where on the internet to find the file you want).
