It's an older model for $150. Is there any specificquestions I should ask? I've read the older macs run slower and battery isn't very good. Is it worth it? It seems like a good deal but I'm not very tech savvy.

Dude. A brand new Windows Laptop for $300-$400 will blow that machine away.

No way in hell would I buy an 8 yr old computer. 8 years is an eternity when it comes to computer hardware.

Might want to think about selling your kids into slavery if you're that cheap

Any 2007 computer is going to be a piece of shite

This is a joke, right? 8 year old computer isn't as fast as a new computer. 8 year old battery isn't as good as a new battery. I dunno man. I'd put my Gateway from 2001 up against any of these new machines.

While a 2007 is much different from a 2009, my 2009 MBP runs like a fricking champ. I upgraded to 8gbs of RAM and swapped out the HDD for an SSD. I've had to change the battery twice, but it runs better than the day I got it.

I've thought about getting a new machine a few times, but everytime I come to the conclusion that I would be dropping close to 1K for a new macbook and my experience will likely be slightly better at best.

I have a 2007 macbook pro. It has a 2.26 Intel Core Duo processor, 2 GB Ram. The main problem I have with it is video playing is very slow and lagged. This is the case for both offline videos and for streaming (off of WatchESPN) for example I'm not sure if this is due to the graphics card or what.
