Tech Board organization Suggestion

instead of 20 threads on the front page of tech board about Apple or Android smartphones, would it be better to have two stickied megathreads for Android or Apple devices ?
Or even a megathread for the most popular?
This would give the board some room to breathe and allow space for other topics of discussion other than "hurr durr smartphonez'
Gaming board seems to do okay with this for many of the popular games and the Gaming PC megathread that is really helpful.

I didn't say anything about not allowing trolls into the other threads...Besides, the front page now doesn't look like a battleground, it looks like a fricking helpdesk technicians worst nightmare.
Also, last 4 out of 5 threads started by Wizz are all things that could of been covered in one Android thread

I just went to the Gaming Board and those megathreads look mighty intimidating. I visit other forums where the mods are Nazis about one thread per topic and it gets really hard to have a fresh conversation about the news of the day. Yeah there's a lot of noise to sift through the way things are now, but it's easier to scan through the topics on this page than try and divine exactly how far back I need to go in a 900 page thread for it to be useful to me. If you think there's something else we should be talking about instead of Android vs. iPhone, start a thread about it.

the tech board isn't as active as i thought it would be
the separate threads aren't that big of a deal since they arent getting bumped off the first page for a long time

I was hoping for more PC related questions/discussions, but people like their phones so I have no problem with letting them have what they want.

Idk I think it's getting more popular. Visited about 4 hrs apart just now and had new threads at the bottom of the page for the first time.
It's still a newborn give it a little time to grow.
Topics will evolve with technology.

Well you gotta remember the new IPhones & iOs8 are naturally generating a bunch of newer threads than normal. Spec that to calm in a few weeks
