I am looking for a surveillance camera that doesn't need wires or the internet to transmit its pictures to me. Is there such a thing that can transmit images back to me a couple hundred feet away?
I have a mare due to foal in one month. I just need a camera I can view through an old TV at night to watch her. Mare is in the barn <200' from my house.
Any help is appreciated. TIA.

Sounds like you need a baby monitor

I appreciate your fail at humor, but I need to be able to see the mare as opposed to hearing her.

that said, is there a camera that operates like a monitor?

He wasn't kidding (I don't think). Some baby monitors have cameras in them nowadays.

Says good for 590 feet

I picked that one because it had night vision as well so you can see in the dark.

I wasn't kidding. Actually, I didn't even consider that there were once baby monitors without video.
