Suggestions on modem/router combo for 1400 sf house?

I had a sbg6580 Motorola that crapped out after three years. I'm wondering if I need to drop another $150 on something similar or can I go cheaper? Only devices used on it would be two phones and an Apple TV with some online gaming. Tia

Combo devices always perform less well than separate units. Buy a cable modem for fifty bucks and then add an inexpensive wireless N router. Those can be found at bargain basement prices since wireless AC became popular. Your wireless devices probably don't support AC anyway so there's no need to overspend.
