My two options for streaming will be Directvnow or PSVue. I currently have a Roku, but I hear it's not ideal for PSVue (live image disappears when viewing the channel guide). So what I want to know (before I do the trials on both) is which device is the best all round for each of these streaming services? Thanks in advance!

I have a similar question as well.

I have PS Vue and I'm currently using the Official PS Vue smart TV app on my Sony TV. The interface is slow and it's 30fps for some reason.

I know switching to a Fire TV will help getting my to 60fps but is the PS Vue interface slow on it or is it smooth?

Smooth

Fire TV is the best device going for its price.

I switched from a Roku 3 to a Fire TV box for PS Vue and the Fire TV works great.

Fire TV seems better suited for running a streaming service than a smart TV, correct?

I don't think Directv now supports Roku yet.

Had a 1st gen Fire Stick for 2 years before upgrading to the current Fire TV.

Haven't had any issues with it. I've used Netflix, Sling, Vue, DirecTV Now, Amazon Video, WatchESPN, HBO Now, etc..

Zero problems. Best Streaming Device on the market right now and its not close.

I will be purchasing two when they become available again.

Directvnow or PSVue.

Im currently testing both to see which one I want to go with... Testing on an Apple TV.

At first, Direct would only spin and wouldn't play when on wifi. When I hard wired in through my Sonos, even though its still a wireless signal, it suddenly worked.

Both seem to be ok thus far. The Direct option is tempting, being you get a $150 Apple TV if you prepay 3 months in advance. So getting a Apple TV for $45 in the end. Considering doing Direct for 3 months and if not happy, rolling over to PSVue, since I get to keep the Apple TV.

Not sure if this is the issue or not but when I connect my Bluetooth headphones to my Fire TV it warns me that it can interfere with the wifi. I haven't actually had issues but some people must if they warn you about it.
