Without household usage, there is a low ceiling to the number of accounts they will get.
they probably made the call that the cost of people sharing credentials is more than the lost business of multiple person households who need multiple accounts. seems to be aimed pretty squarely at millennials, who are more likely to be unmarried and without kids. those who are married, have kids, own homes, etc. are probably much less likely to be cord cutters.

I want to pipe in here. I had a legit service (cox) and the full sports plan but my login never worked on watchespn for sec+. It's was a weird deal...I had to use my friends login.

Back when I had Cox, I do recall having lots of trouble with Watch ESPN, the website.
With Sling, I had zero problem setting up the APP on my computer and Fire TV.
2 weeks in, and at the moment, I am more than happy with Sling.

Man I really am tired of paying $160 a month for Internet and cable but I have zero clue about any of this or any of the options that are available

Question about this, our Dish is actually up today, wife complained and was paying $50 a month for a basic package plus like 25 for internet. Dish now wants 97 a month and I said frick that.
so, this is pretty much an app streamed from my computer or tablet to our tv for like 25 bucks a month? should I start another thread about this for millennials who don't understand technology, but still understand it more than Frankie?

not necessarily just computer or tablet nowadays. a lot of the "streaming devices" that you already use for Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBOGo/Now, etc, also have the WatchESPN app.
For example. We use our Roku 3 with the WatchESPN app on the TV in the living room.
You would login to WatchESPN with your cable or internet provider credentials. So, since I have Comcast internet (no cable, no phone. just internet) and I have SlingTV. I login to the app using my Sling credentials.
Boom. ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNews, ESPNU, SEC Network, SECN+, and I think CBS Sports (i could be wrong on CBS tho)

Only "IDJITS", suffering from delusion.

Alright, I'll take a picture of my WatchESPN account and if SECN+ shows up as an availe stream, you just disappear from this post and site. Deal?

Okay, I will listen.
I have Sling TV, with the Sports Package.
I get all of the ESPN Sites, except SECN+.
I have called Sling TV, several times, and they tell me they DO NOT offer SECN+, if I don't have a TV provider. Roku tells me the same.
Every time I try to access it, via WATCHESPN, SlingTV, or ROKU, they will not allow it, citing that I must have a TV Provider. I cannot access it using SlingTV as my provider, nor Cox, as my internet provider.
Please show me how to do this - Step-By-Step.
My frustration is with the failed process, not really with you guys, who say it is simple to complete this process.

if you are being sincere. I honestly don't know.
to me it seems like if you have SEC Network, apart of that package is the SEC alternative channels and/or SECN+. I have had SEC Network with both ATT UVerse and now with Comcast/Sling. And I had SECN+ with both. So to me it seems like someone over at Cox doesn't know what they are talking about or is blocking it for some strange reason.
instead of your sling credentials have you tried logging in with your Cox credentials?

Thank you for your response.
Yes, I am being sincere.
Will not allow me to access through Cox, as Internet Provider
It will continue to be a mystery, I guess.
Peace.

I just finished talking to Cox Support.
They told me that I must have Cox Cable TV in order to access SECN+.
Thanks, again, "Peace".

This has been told you at least a dozen times
1. Open Watch ESPN APP
2. Use SLING TV as your provider not COX
3. Watch the games that are on SEC network+ on the Watch ESPN app
Why is that so hard for you understand? Screenshots have been posted already
