Hi guys, looking for tips to save a map at a pretty decent zoom level (at least to show secondary roadways) for use in a presentation (using prezi). Essentially, I want to show a route in the presentation, but want to be able to use it offline. I have county maps, city maps, and all, but google is just a little easier to view as it's in color and not black and white like most of the maps I'm working with.

The only way I know how to do it, is to screen shot a bunch of views and piece them together. Any other ideas?

Google Earth Pro is a free download and will let you save very high quality maps.

I don't know how you're going to use Google Maps successfully if you don't use Google for search either.

I recently went to Vegas (saw Celine's last show before her husband died).

I used MapQuest to store maps to pdf on a Kindle Fire. I was surprised how easy it was. Could not zoom in very much but was what I needed for getting around downtown.

If everyone found out about Google search then we wouldn't have a Tech Board anymore.

Zoom to the place you want and type "Ok maps" into the search bar. I did this when I went from Guat city to Atitlan and it worked like a champ

It will download and will be there for you when you search for the place offline
