Just finished the first run through my living room, kitchen, dining and breakfast area that is all connected, and has several transitions from wood to tile. No issues, it cleaned the entire area without needing to be helped, however I did do some prep to make sure there wasn't anything on the floor that would get caught in the brush like shoelaces.

It did an awesome job, even got right up against the baseboards where the old xv-21 would leave a 1/2 inch strip that it couldn't vacuum. If you get one, get the botvac series, it fixes several flaws the xv and signature series had.

I had the older model neato xv-21 and it did a good job of keeping the floors clean, but died after about 18 months.

i'm not trying to get into a pissing contest with you, but you are an idiot. i don't have a neato (as i stated). i just read that about them. after i said that, others chimed in the thread with first hand experience supporting what i read. i'm really happy for you that you have had good experience with them. i hope that this continues to be the case.

happy holidays farva

My problem is that with 3 kids the floors need to be swept every other day, and the maid only comes once every other week.
