Requesting computer recommendations....

I haven't bought one in over 5yrs. For personal use, I use iPhone & iPad. However, will begin teaching online and need full computer.
Needs: webcam, compatibility with adobe platform for classroom.
There will be synchronous instruction on camera with 12-15 students on screen as well.
For that reason, leaning towards desktop with larger monitor - suggestions here?
I have some interest in the iMac due to me satisfaction w/ other iProducts but am open to convincing arguments towards Windows based (to include monetary).
All feedback, and suggestions are appreciated!

Both platforms (Windows / macOS) have gotten to the point where they have nearly identical functionality. And software companies (i.e. Adobe) release their programs for both operating systems, so compatibility isn't really an issue.
Honestly, it's all going to come down to $$$ and your own personal comfort with the OS.

I think two monitor setup would be advantageous in your situation. Have one screen for the online classroom software, and one for notes and other things that would be off screen for the classroom.
