Removing a card from my iphone

I switched banks and added my new card. However, it will not let me remove the old one. I hit edit, touch the red circle, then hit remove but it does do anything. Any ideas?

No. I hit settings, then my name, then payment and shipping and there are my two cards.

Not an app. When I buy music, apps or my kids buy a game it is taken from this card that is stored on my phone.

It's proably linked to your Apple account for purchases.
Add the new one, make the new card the default payment for Apple, then you should be able to remove the old one.

It is gone. I didn't do anything different. It just decided to work this time. Thanks.

Then follow the instructions in the above link. You simply go to your Apple Wallet in Settings. You then add a card and designat it as your default card. You can even delete your old card.
