The mother in law has tasked me to find her something to use on a upcoming trip. She got one (trip star grounded adapter) that was suggested to her that is EU plugs with what should be US plug ins but its too loose and the iphone wont stay plugged. A USB style would be nice. I looked on amazone but theres a ton of them and some reviews are not so great. Since we cant test it before id like to get something that maybe someone has used before. thanks!

go to like marshalls or tj max, they usu have the adapters. Just use an iphone usb brick with cable.

One thing i noticed though was that it seeemed the Italian socket was harder to get the adapter to plug into than in france for some reason.

They are supposed to be the same, but maybe they are slightly different

I take a US power strip and a single adapter then plug in from there. The iPhone charger should step the voltage down for you.

Thats like what she has already but the plug just doesnt fit snug. Maybe I need to try a different brand. She only needs to charge a phone so she doesnt want/need a big power strip kind.

Just noticed that insignia one has a usb port as well. May give that one a try.
