Reinstall router with new modem

Hello all,
So my modem crapped out Sunday (just in time for GoT) and I purchased a new one Monday and installed and got it up and running. I have a fairly new Netgear 6400 router that was working fine with the previous modem, but for some reason doesn't broadcast the signal with the new modem. The modem I bought is a Netgear so that there would be no compatibility issues. I've checked the Ethernet chords, so there is no issue there. I tried resetting the router several times, but still cannot get a broadcasted signal. The wifi network login/password are still there, but it just doesn't work. Any tips/ideas?

Are you sure it was the modem that is bad and not the router?

When in doubt factory reset.
