I have had those Focal Utopias on my head for a little bit...they are glorious!!

Grado SR80
These will pull you into another dimension. Highly detailed sound at low levels.
<$100

If you want sealed, check out Audio Technica ath-50. Theres a variation of them now.
Not the detail of the Grados. Open headphones generally sound better than closed.

Sennheiser HD 598 is highly regarded and less than $150 or so. My iPod Touch is able to drive them quite respectably.

I was really happy with some Sennheiser headphones that I recently purchased

These were 22

I have some higher end senheiser ones but just wanted these for a work trip and didn't want to bring the other ones with me
