Purchasing LG OLED TV

I’m buying an LG OLED C7P TV for my new apartment and have a few questions. I found the best deal on Massdrop at $2299 for the 65”. After reading up on Massdrop, I’m not sure if it’s worth the savings. Apparently they aren’t the best company to deal with and if something happens to go wrong with my TV it could be a pain in the arse working with customer service.
Or, I could spend $2699 at BestBuy and have a trusted customer service and return policy should anything happen. I know burn-in and other problems are not uncommon. So, has anyone bought through Massdrop? Is it worth the $400 savings?

I was gonna buy the same tv till the order wouldn’t go through since I live in Hawaii. I dont know about Massdrop other than people here posting links so I’d hope it’s a good co. Good savings.

I bought that exact tv from bestbuy specifically because of the reasons you listed. If something happened with burn in or the tv in general I know I’d be able to get it fixed or replaced without hassle. At that price range I’d say the peace of mind is worth the few extra hundred dollars imo. But so far the tv has been fantastic.
I also purchased Best Buy’s geek squad protection because I had read multiple reviews about how terrible LG’s customer service has been fixing problems if they were to occur. So that this way I’d be able to bypass the lg warranty all together and just deal with bestbuy.

I had the exact same concerns a month ago; so many reviews saying they had issues and the company wouldn't support them. Random question, are you a prime member?
If so, get the Amazon prime credit card. It has no annual fee, and gave me 10% back from the 65" C7 (~$270). The 4 year warranty was ~$150, and you know Amazon will stand behind it. At the time I also got free professional installation, which is a lifesaver. The thing is so, so thin it is absolutely terrifying to handle, even more so to mount to a wall.

Yes I am a Prime Member. When you purchase through Amazon, how do you include the extended warranty and installation?

Haven't paid much attention to OLED,but I looked at the LG 55" earlier in Target. Looks amazing with those true blacks.

I bought the tv from Amazon A little over a month ago. It's amazing. I haven't had any problems and I leave mine on for a good while with my Xbox while I'm not playing, no burn in issues yet
Adding while I prefer shopping on Amazon I did try to purchase from best buy. I checked 3 different best buys and waited a week and checked them again and they never had the tv. They said they could order it and have it in 4 or 5 days so I just went with Amazon. They used a special carrier to deliver it that will take it anywhere you want in the house.

It will ask you if you want an extended warranty when you add it to your cart. The professional installation is a drop down, but looks like it isn't free anymore.

So I tried applying for the Bestbuy Credit Card which gets me 10% back in BestBuy points that I was going to put towards speakers. They only approved me for $1k line of credit. I guess that rules out that option since the tv is $2699? If I apply for the Amazon Prime Credit Card will I get rejected since I just applied for the Best Buy one too? Or what could I say in the application to ensure I get $3k line of credit to cover the tv? Sorry I guess I’m poor or something

Let me start by saying I'm not a financial person what so ever, I enjoy spending money and hate getting in peoples business.
$1k line of credit from Best buy isn't bad for someone young. (To me sounds like you're younger with lower income and no established credit.)
I'd be more afraid of the rate.
If youre young don't worry about being "poor" , work hard to get a better job.
If you lie on a credit application, you might get approved (I honestly don't know), but for a tv? Come on man.
If you can't afford it and can't get credit, why not save a few bucks a month?
It will drop in price over that time. Yes newer technology will be out, but who cares. It's a tv.
I'm 30 with minimal debt and over $6k/mo income. I don't even have cable.
Try giving up a few things to save money.
