PS VUE DVR buffering

Anyone else have this issue. The live TV works great. As do the on demand shows. The DVR is essentially unwatchable though. Constant freezes and buffering issues.
I really like the service aside from that, but it's an issue

I have noticed slight buffering on occasion. It usually occurs after I fast forward through commercials. Usually pausing it for just a moment seems to make it flow smoothly again.
Once or twice it has been horrible like you are describing. It was around 6 in the evening so I assumed either psvue or Cox was getting slammed with traffic. I'm not exactly sure if psvue can handle that much traffic at once yet. Not quite sure how they handle the DVR demand.

I've never run into any problems with Vue other than occasional minor buffering. I'm not sure how their DVR setup is, but the way Pelicans games seem to be delayed more than the Fox Sports Go app, I've always assumed they're just live rebroadcasting a feed from Fox. If the DVR is a similar set up then maybe the problem is the parent network of the show you're watching. Does this happen with any show you watch on the DVR?

I get the same problem when trying to fast forward through commercials. It seems to only happen at night. If I watch shows during the day I haven't had any problems skipping through.
