Priority on purchases question

Ok, first world problems but between the 3 items below, what should be my order of purchasing the 3?
-Nest or ecobee3 to have smart thermostat
-Amazon Echo to work with my other smart devices
-Harmony hub to use with my harmony ultimate and Amazon Fire tv
Then finally, I plan to eventually purchase all 3 but are there any that I should avoid?

Might as well grab the Nest at $50 off now. I grabbed one despite the reviews here and will be installing tomorrow evening.

The deal ends 7/4 I believe so I'll only be able to opine on install and interface, but I will.

IMO the nest doesnt work great with echo. I have a real hard time telling her to turn down the thermostat. Could just be mine though.

I'd get the hub. I hate having to use multiple remotes.
