Picture problem

I have a toshiba 40 inch model number 40e200u1. Heard a pop sound and bottom of the picture got dark. Any Ideas or suggestions.

Buy a new one from a place like Best Buy that will take the old one off your hands. You can get a 40-inch for around $200.
